First & Third (LGBTQ+) Support Group

First & Third is an educational and social support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning youth and their allies. Meetings take place on the first and third Saturdays of every month at HiTOPS from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.

We believe that all young people have the right to be safe, affirmed, and supported. First & Third is HiTops’ educational and social support group for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies.

•A safe space for LGBTQ+ youth to meet, socialize, and learn;
•Educational activities regarding healthy relationships, gender and sexuality, STI/HIV prevention;
•Leadership training for GSA clubs;
•Adult and college student guest speakers who serve as role models and mentors for LGBTQ+ youth;
•Training for LGBTQ+ youth who want to become effective speakers and group facilitators for HiTops educational programs in the community.

First & Third encourages youth to get to know one another, socialize, and have fun, and welcomes all youth to our meetings. Please join us!
