Overview of Support Groups

HiTOPS has developed programs that go beyond education and health services to promote adolescent health and well being. The groups described below offer opportunities for finding support, compassion, healing and empowerment. Built into these groups are opportunities for building skills for successful futures - communication, leadership, self-esteem, decision making, respect and tolerance. HiTOPS is a safe space for all teens and their families.

First & Third: an educational and social support group for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth and their allies.
PFLAG: a support and educational group for family members and friends of someone who is gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender.
SASS: Sexual Assault Survivor Support for young women.
